Effects of Science on Our Amusement

Soon pupils will have the winter holidays, and here's a question- what's better: to stay home with the IT or go out and get frozen up?)

firstly, there's no doubt the society changes with the attitude to amusement. The elder generation preferred tourism, fishing, games in the open air. The interest to sports has been lost and gyms have been changed for internet clubs, night disco clubs. The latest achievements of science and technology make our rest more diverse. Computer games plunge us into quite a different world from which we often don’t want to return.

Modern cell phones make a separate side of the industry of entertainment. To my mind only 50% belong to its functional predestination while other 50% is given to amusement. If we have a look at children’s toys we should stress the fact that we can buy a toy car at a price of 10$ or 10 000$ equipped with the latest technological achievements. It may not give in a real car. You should never forget that the technologies used in games in the begging of the year get old-fashioned at its end(

I came to the conclusion that it’s much easier to organize the championship on the game “Quake” at school than chess or draught tournament. 

But the choice still rests with you=)

Why is it that despite of our best efforts many of us remain fundamentally unhappy and unfulfilled in our lives? There’re certain facts of life we cannot change, so to say – the unavoidable “givens” of human existence. The first one is that everything changes and ends.  The opposite of “yes” is not “no”. It is  control.  "yes" is acceptance, control is refsal, our favourite way of running from life as it is.Worry and stress are directly related to control. Actually there’s only one worry that the way the chips fall will not work out for the best.When we begin to say “yes” it is important not to push our particular yes onto others since we all have a different reality to affirm. “ Hell is being stuck in ego”. The ever present and ineradicable opportunity to change is a reason not to give up on ourselves or others. Then even hell is impermanent.
Admit in a world in which everything changes and ends, an attitude of acceptance and trust makes sense, doesn’t it?

Let's talk about me

I'm an ordinary girl( I find a person extraordinary only if he has a superpower or stuff like that). The only thing that makes me different right now is that I'm readind the article about psychology and 5 things in life we cannot change. The point is: the article is in English. I feel like I know only a few English words. An awful feeling. 6 years just for nothing. The question is- when will I go to sleep and get indifferent to everything that annoys me so much?))

If I were not writing this post now

If I were not writing this post now,  I'd probably were outdoors with my friends or were watching a movie. But I was to create the blog to have the ability to be less helpless during the Test on Monday. We were told It would be the terrible one)) So my first task is done and now I have the right  to be suggested some solutions.
