Soon pupils will have the winter holidays,
and here's a question- what's better: to stay home with the IT or go out and
get frozen up?)
firstly, there's no doubt the society changes with the attitude to amusement. The elder generation preferred tourism, fishing, games
in the open air. The interest to sports has been lost and gyms have
been changed for internet clubs, night disco clubs. The latest achievements of science and technology
make our rest more diverse. Computer games plunge us into quite a different
world from which we often don’t want to return.
Modern cell phones make a separate side of the
industry of entertainment. To my mind only 50% belong to its functional
predestination while other 50% is given to amusement. If we have a look at children’s toys we should stress the fact that we
can buy a toy car at a price of 10$ or 10 000$ equipped with the latest
technological achievements. It may not give in a real car. You should never forget that the technologies used
in games in the begging of the year get old-fashioned at its end(
I came to the
conclusion that it’s much easier to organize the championship on the game
“Quake” at school than chess or draught tournament.
But the choice still rests with you=)
